For the fifth time in eight years Pat Narduzzi will be hiring a new Offensive Coordinator, and for the fifth time in eight years the process is shrouded in mystery.

As usual, a familiar name was bandied about. As usual, it turned out to be a dead end.

According to reports #Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt has met with #Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi about their vacant offensive coordinator job.

I'm fairly confident Alex Van Pelt was never actually a candidate for the open offensive coordinator position at Pitt. You never say never, but it sure looks that way, from what I've heard.
