How About a Pitt POV Zoom Meeting/Chat??

Folks – let me know your opinion on this:

I would like to do a Pitt POV Zoom meeting next Tuesday evening (Dec 14th) when there are no major sports games being played. I have my own Zoom account and if enough people are interested I think it will be fun for 40 minutes or an hour. I figured that whoever wants to join can send me an email and I’ll send out the meeting info via return email. or – I can put the info on here but we may get a bunch of Zoom Bombers…we’ll see.

I’ll post this now then again tomorrow to see how many takers we get. I think it would be fun – and quite honestly it will get me out of my own head for an evening. Reply in comments if you are interested – I’ll host and do all the work.

    1. I have a board of director’s meeting late Tuesday afternoon that will run into the evening via Zoom.

      I’ll be Zoomed out by that point.

      Count me out this round.

  3. Kenny Pickett on College GameDay this morning along with the other three Heisman hopefuls.

    Clearly one of the other nominees NOT a Pickett fan.

    Inevitable that the discussion would come up about the Pickett “Fake Slide.” As Pickett was responding to the question posed as to whether it was REALLY intentional… the look on C.J. Stroud’s face is just too telling.

    Nice guy Bryce Young looks to be the winner going away. But here’s hoping “Kool Kenny” pulls in right behind at No. 2 leaving Stroud back in the dust.

  5. BTW… A lot of talk about Alabama Will Anderson being the missing piece at the Heisman Award.

    Let me see, if Anderson had gotten his just due according to many in the know… WHAT might that do to the Alabama/SEC voting block now squarely behind Bryce Young?

  7. Off topic but Franklin just hired Manny Diaz as DC. I’m sure he noticed how much success Pitt was having with south Florida kids so I’m sure he’s pursuing that market

    But he’ll likely be going after the blue chips while Partridge will continue to seek the diamonds in the rough but hopefully a couple studs.

  12. I would be up for a zoom meeting. Be a good time to try out my laptop, my first computer with a camera and a microphone. Wow, these new fangled gadgets are something.

  14. I have the Zoom meeting info article scheduled to post tomorrow in the early afternoon. I upgraded to “Zoom Pro” so we’ll have no restrictions on time.

    Which time would be best – 7:30pm or 8:00pm??
