    1. My theory (although you wouldn’t guess it from my prediction) is that NC state is actually pretty good. I think they had like 20 ppl out against Virginia tech.

      The question for Pitt I think is all inside their heads. Which brings us back to your very relevant point about to SOP or not to SOP…

    Pitt penalties: over 8
    Kenny Pickett passing Yards: over 426
    Pitt rushing yards (net): under 37
    Pitt sacks: under 2
    Pitt points: over 27

  8. Traveling squad for Pitt of the 75 players 14 are true freshman. Did not make the trip W Davis and Krull(no surprise on those two I don’t think) and Camp(snake bitten I presume). Addison, A J Davis, Bright, Wayne and K Wright made the trip. Whether the later group plays much is another question.

  94. Looks like the same defense as last week with very little pressure and many open receiver in the secondary. They won’t win this game if that scenario doesn’t change. Jurk is a very good QB. Wish www had him for next season.

  131. Searching for meaning as a Pitt fan, the refs are out to get us, a Pittsburgh kid is leading BC. The announcers suck, we cannot run the ball but our QB runs after every play to the sidelines for guidance from our OC.

    It’s hard to be a Pitt fan but remember what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

    And we know about that trend from last year. Mr. Whipple’s half-time adjustments and/or Pickett gassed from all the sideline excursions.

  262. The Pitt defensive line is getting more pressure because they have been substituting the entire game.

    It seems like Morgan, Bentley, Camp and Kancey are the most effective group playing today.

    The BC QB has excellent pocket presence.

    Defense held but horrible field position.

    I know woulda, coulda and shoulda but we could be up if we hit the 2 FG’s.
